Teri Ann Kaler passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with ovarian cancer on December 18, 2017 at the age of 55. Teri was born on June 15, 1962 in Modesto. She grew up in Escalon, worked for 12 years as the educational director at the NASCAR Technical Institute in North Carolina and returned to Escalon three years ago to be close to her family.
Teri was an animal lover, especially horses and dogs. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors and water sports. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and pets.
Teri leaves behind her mother and father, Judy and Vern Jansen, her brothers, Kip Jansen (Genevieve) and Jeff Kaler and her loving rescue dog, Misty.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Teri’s life will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 2 p.m. at Kip Jansen’s home; 1749 Chianti Ct. in Escalon.
