Robert B. Lease Sr., 83, passed away on Friday, July 24 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Born on May 16, 1926, he lived in Escalon his entire life. He was a hardworking, honorable man who was devoted to his family as well as being very committed to his community and his friends.
He lived a good life and left a good legacy, and his great grandchildren were the true delights of his life. He was a veteran of the Army.
Survivors include his son Douglas K. Lease of Susanville; his grandchildren Nathaniel Lease of Fremont, Thaddeus C. Lease of Oakdale and Justin R. Lease of Manteca; his great grandchildren Brent E. Lease of Fremont and Emily E. Lease of Fremont; and his siblings Clifton Lease of Ripon and Lorraine Robinson of Modesto.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dena Lease and their son Robert B. Lease Jr.
His memorial service will be on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. at Saron Lutheran Church, 1730 North St. in Escalon with burial following at Burwood Cemetery.
