RENO VASCO GIUNTOLI

Reno Vasco Giuntoli peacefully passed away at the age of 92, April 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Reno was born January 2, 1930 to parents Eugenio and Alaide Giuntoli in Cicero, Illinois. Reno enlisted with the United States Air Force in 1950, and proudly served four years. He was stationed in Japan for two years during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged in 1954. Not long after he met a beautiful woman named Reanna Baciocco, they were married September 27, 1959 and built a wonderful life together in Escalon, CA. They were married 62-and-a-half years.

Reno was a hard-working man, a loving and dedicated husband, father and great friend to all who met him. He was very active in the Escalon community; he was a member of the American Legion Post #263, past President of the Escalon Lions Club, Parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church which included volunteering his time with several organizations with the Men of St. Patrick’s. Reno enjoyed socializing with his peers. His hobbies included, horseback riding (pack horse) through Kennedy Meadows, listening to Big Band music, singing his heart out and dancing through the house. He was best known for his joking and silly manner and his “Nono-isms.”

Reno is survived by his loving wife of 62-and-a-half years, Reanna; his children, David Giuntoli of San Diego, Annette (Zack) Mihalis of San Jose, Phillip (Robin) Giuntoli of Escalon, Loraine Giuntoli of Eagan, MN, Charlotte (Greg) Mehl of Winters, Richard (Janie) Giuntoli of Escalon and Yvonne (Anthony) Maze of Mather. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jacqueline, Stefan, Cameron, Janelle, Madeline, Mikala, Elan, Rachel, Nathan, Stasio, Vanessa, Carson, Renno, Isabella, Natalie, Dylan, Katie and great-granddaughter, Weslyn. Reno is preceded in death by his brother, Adolf Giuntoli.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Giuntoli family. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St., Escalon, CA 95320. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Committal to follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
