Peggy Ault, 69, passed away at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward on Friday, Oct. 7.

She was born in Oakland on June 23, 1942 and was raised in Oakland. She was a lifetime California resident. She moved her family to Hayward in the 1980s and years later she retired from a long life of work in the bakers industry and moved to Oakdale were she enjoyed the country life.

She enjoyed going to casinos, listening and dancing to oldie but goodies music, farm life, her dogs and cats, but mostly spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her mother, Jennie Cortez of Oakland; brother Nemecio "Jr" Cortez of Oakland; daughter Carrie Bohner of Tracy; grandsons Justin and Jayson Bohner of Tracy, Bryson Stonum and Daniel Ault of Manteca; four nieces and four nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ault; son Dennis Ault; sisters Gloria Cortez and Virginia Delgado; brothers Gregory Cortez and Michael Cortez.

Services were Friday, Oct. 14 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon; burial followed at Valley Home Memorial Park.
