Pauline Conceicao Pires, 97, died Sunday, Dec. 16 in Ripon.

Born on Jan. 19, 1910 in Terceira, Azores, she had lived in Ripon for 31 years.

Survivors include her children, Maria Celeste Machado of Manteca, Maria Romualda Linhares of Ripon, Maria Odete Lima of Terceira, Azores; grandchildren, Luisa Silva and Frank Machado, both of Manteca, Dennis Linhares Jr. of Oakdale, Edward Linhares of Escalon, Bernadette Linhares of Ripon and four additional, in the Azores; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 So. Palm Ave., Ripon. Rosary will be Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 19401 East Highway 120 and a service will be at the church on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m.

Burial to follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 17871 So. Carrolton Road.
