Patricia Louise (Leatherman) Thiemann, 51, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at her Ripon residence.

Born June 16, 1956 in Long Beach, she had lived in Ripon for 14 years.

Her family was her life and this was demonstrated over and over again in countless ways, perhaps best through her love and creativity. Whether it was a painting, blanket, stuffed animal or another craft, her passion for family was relayed in all of these gracious gifts. A loving sister, mother, nana and wife, she used this love like a special stitch in an eternal blanket that holds the family together.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Steven M. Thiemann; children, Steven Henry, Melinda Smith, Nick Thiemann and Kyle Thiemann, all of Ripon, Amy Thiemann of Lathrop; grandchildren, Preston Smith, Dakota Henry, Catherine Henry, Lauryn Thiemann and Evan Thiemann, all of Ripon; siblings, Steven Leatherman and Jamie Larson of Modesto, Aaron Leatherman of Angels Camp, Philip Leatherman of Carona, Alice Blundale of Louisiana, Roger Leatherman and Susan Miller of Riverbank, Sara Lenhart of Ripon, Robin Harvey of Texas and Harold Leatherman of Kentucky.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Feb. 3 at New Hope Church, Escalon.
