Patricia Jean Prater-Minas, 49, entered into rest on December 30, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas, where she lived for the past 20 years. She was born on August 9, 1966 in Escalon. Patricia is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Lee West-Prater. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 20 years, Ralph Minas, her father and step-mother Wendell Jean Prater and Nancy Lee Prater, her children Ely and Drake Minas and her siblings LaDonna Humphrey and Gary Joseph Prater.

Patricia had a smile that lit up the room. She was a cheerleader for Escalon High School, she loved to ballroom dance, and she was very involved with her boys’ sports; especially baseball. Patricia loved to travel the world. She and her family would travel to very tropical areas. She truly enjoyed cooking and event planning. She coordinated private events for about 15 years, sometimes even for celebrities.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Trish will be sorely missed by so many. Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to be serving the Minas family. A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 East River Road in Escalon.
