Nellie Belle Moore passed away in Oakdale on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 with family by her side. She was 98 years old.
She was born at Boswell, Oklahoma on Aug. 1, 1910.
On June 8, 1934 she married Lawrence Sawyer. Together they had three children - JoAnn Wilde of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jim (Donna) of Sonora and Jerry (Pat) of Oroville.
Along with many friends and relatives, Nellie is survived by her three children; grandchildren Greg (Angela) Sawyer, Tod (Cara) Sawyer, Kim (Larry) Guanzon, Amber Wilde, Darren Wilde and Tim Sawyer; and six great-grandchildren, Trevor, Cameron, Tyler, Heather, Nate and Ian.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 5, 1953.
Funeral services were Sunday, Sept. 21.
