Mary T. Martini, 94, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 17.
She had been living at Orangeburg Manor Assisted Care Facility in Modesto for four years. Previously, she lived with her family in Escalon since 1988.
Born in Oakland on Jan. 20, 1917, she lived there until 1987.
Survivors include her daughter, Anna Mortara (Dave) of Escalon and son Robert Martini (Annette) of Bethel Island; three granddaughters, Rosanna Suniga (Pete), Rebecca Diaz (Ray), and Robin Mortara, two grandsons, Alec Martini and Anthony Martini; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent, and three brothers, Fred, Frank, and Sammy.
She will be greatly missed.
The family extends its appreciation to Hospice of Modesto for taking such great care of her, as well as the staff at Orangeburg Manor, who were there until the very end.
