Marianna Bellino, 83, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2008.

She was born in Bitritto, Italy on Nov. 10, 1925 and immigrated to the United States in 1948 after her marriage to John Bellino. She and her husband lived in New York City for five years, where they had three children.

In 1953 they moved their family to Escalon. Mrs. Bellino loved cooking and sewing for her family, helping her husband on the farm and gardening.

Survivors include her loving children, Laura Bellino of Loomis, Nick Bellino of Danville, and Marie Bellino of Manteca; her brother Luigi Alberga of Toronto, Canada and her sister, Maria Loconte of Bitritto, Italy.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John Bellino; her mother Maria Nicola and her father Oronzo Alberga; her sister, Domenica Iacabazzi, all of Bitritto, Italy and her brother, Pasquale Alberga of Chicago, Illinois

Visitation was at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon on Tuesday, Dec. 9. A Rosary/Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Escalon on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family requests that donations be made to St. Patrick's Building Fund in lieu of flowers.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
