Mariana Imfeld, 92, passed away on Thursday, April 10.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1922 along with her twin brother to parents Emil and Rosa Burch in El Centro, CA.

She married Louie Imfeld on May 2, 1943 and moved to Escalon in 1950, where she resided until entering Bethany Home.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 71 years, Louis Imfeld; son Robert (Marge) Imfeld; her sister, Rosa Stehli; and brothers Emil and Joe Burch, all of Patterson; grandchildren Heidi (Kevin) Hawes, Hans (Cheryl) Imfeld, Andrea (Brian) Bynum, Trudie (Matt) Silva, and Emilie (Louie) Bouma; great-grandchildren Maddie and Trent Hawes, Alena, Ingrid and Elise Imfeld, Walter Bynum, Sydney Silva, and Sophia and Jakob Bouma.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was Tuesday, April 15 at Deegan’s Funeral Chapel, Escalon.

Rosary and Mass are Wednesday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Ripon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club, Bethany Home or St. Patrick’s Church.
