Lucille Osborn, 87, passed away on January 16, 2009 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

She was born on March 18, 1921 in Spur, Texas and had been a resident of Modesto for the past 60 years. She retired from S&H Green Stamp Redemption Center in Modesto as a hostess, where she worked for 20 years.

She loved flowers and gardening and enjoyed baking for her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters Carolyn (Bob) Parker and Doris Weavill, both of Modesto; her grandchildren Bruce Parker, Steve Parker and Carl Weavill, all of Modesto; one great grandchild Joshua Parker of Modesto; and her sisters Vernedene Ebbs and Lois Turner, both of Bakersfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Osborn.

Private services were held at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
