Larry Wayne Hogg, 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 3 at San Joaquin General Hospital.

Born on May 24, 1965, he was a resident of the Stockton and Modesto area all of his life. He worked for New Deal Market in Modesto as a butcher for many years before becoming disabled in 2004. He was a devoted fisherman who enjoyed hanging out at home watching television and spending time with his children.

His family and friends will miss his sense of humor and his kindness.

Survivors include his daughter Lauren Hogg, who is 10 years old; his sister Guilene McIntyre of Oakdale; his ex brother-in-law Scott McIntyre of Oakdale; his ex-wife and caregiver Dawn Gossen and husband Shawn Gossen of Stockton; his niece Ashton McIntyre of Oakdale and nephew Zachariah McIntyre, also of Oakdale.

He was preceded in death by his son Tyler Hogg who passed away last year.

A Celebration of Life potluck was staged on Saturday, March 7 at the Collegeville Fire House.

Burial was private for his family at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
