Joseph L. Sutter, 76, died Sunday, Feb. 1 at Manteca Care and Rehab, Manteca.
Born in Modesto, he had lived in Ripon for 44 years.
He was a chemical worker with Simplot in Lathrop for 32 years and was a veteran of the Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of five years, Veronica Sutter of Ripon; children, Matthew L. Sutter of Olympia, Wa., Mark A. Sutter of Sacramento and Luke J. Sutter of Oklahoma; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Sutter, in 1982.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 9 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held.
