James Brandon Jensen, 21, passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 4 with family at his bedside in Escalon.

He was born in Modesto to parents Gary and Candy Jensen; he is survived by his parents and three younger sisters, Morgan, Amanda and Jordin Jensen, all of Escalon.

James was a very special child who touched people in amazing ways; he had courage and an inner strength that made his family proud. He will be truly missed.

He completed high school in Escalon in 2007 and went on to a continuing educational class in Stockton.

James is also survived by grandparents Pam Fay of Topeka, Kansas, Gary and Dee Jensen of Napa; and great grandparents Maryeda Johnson, Luella Jensen and Cecil Hoff, all of Colorado.

The family would like to thank family and friends for their tireless efforts and support; as well as physicians, nurses and teachers that supported James throughout his journey.

Arrangements were handled by Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon.

Condolences to his family can be made at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 11 at CrossPoint Community Church, Modesto.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be considered for Stockton Community Class - Redwood Student Body Fund, Redwood School, 3555 Wilmarth Road, Stockton, CA 95215.
