James Arthur Wheeler, 76, known to many as Big Jim or Sonnie, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 15, 1938 in New Mexico to Joseph and Flo Wheeler.

‘Big Jim’ is survived by Maryrose Dugo Wheeler; son Jimmy Wheeler II and daughter-in-law Stephanie; grandchildren Jared and Leah Wheeler; his mother, Lenora (Flo) Anglin Branin; and his sister, Sharon Zavesky.

He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers and one sister.

Services were held earlier this week.
