Herman G. Cagle, 81, of Modesto, died on Sunday, Dec. 16.
Born on Oct. 28, 1916, he had been a truck driver for many years and was a member of the Merced Dirt Riders and Stanislaus Trail Bike Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Cagle of Modesto; his son, Mark Cagle and daughter-in-law Pam of Kansas; his brother, Bill Cagle of Desert Hot Springs, California; two step daughters, Beth McDonough and Sharon Emig; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Leslie D. Cagle and by his sister Willa Mae Gilman.
Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street in Escalon with burial following at Burwood Cemetery.
