Henrique 'Henry' Goncalves Vieira, 85, passed away at his home in Riverbank on Thursday, March 4.

Born on Nov. 24, 1924, he worked as a milker/farmer for many years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, dancing and having a good time. He loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Maria Nunes of Riverbank, Lucia Carlos of San Jose, Adelina Rodriguez of Modesto and George Vieira of Oakdale; his grandchildren Lesley Valim of Elk Grove, Elizabeth Medeiros of Modesto, Luis Carlos of San Jose, Raymond Carlos of San Jose, Amy Nunes of Santa Clara, Robert Rodriguez of Sacramento, Adelina Rodriguez of Las Vegas, Julia Jacobo of Riverbank, Melissa Vieira of Oakdale, Nathaniel Vieira of Oakdale; and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Maria, his parents and his brothers and sisters.

Visitation and Rosary were on Sunday, March 7 at Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon. Mass was Monday, March 8 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Riverbank, with burial following at St. John's Cemetery.
