Helen Helzer, 94, of Escalon passed away on Friday, Nov. 27.
She was born in Dorris, California and had lived in Escalon for the past 15 years.
She was a homemaker and was also involved in interior design sales.
Survivors include her children, Fritz (Sandra) Helzer of Paso Robles and Christine (Doug) Franklin of Escalon; grandchildren, Eric (Shelley) Helzer, Shasta Jefferson, R.J. (Katie) Jefferson, Sierra Jefferson and Elias Kertel; and two great-grandchildren, Alec and Evelyn Helzer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Helzer and parents, Eva and LaSalle Wilkins.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and dear friend to all she knew.
Private services are planned on Friday, Dec. 4 in San Jose with interment at Oak Hill Park in San Jose.
The family would like for friends to join them for an open house on Saturday, Dec. 5 from noon to 5 p.m. at her home, 2424 Yosemite Ave., Escalon.
