Frankie "Elizabeth" Owens Dixon, 80, of Escalon died Sunday, April 25 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto.

Born in Oklahoma, she had lived in Escalon for 54 years. She worked as a custodian at Escalon Assembly of God Church for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Edward N. Dixon; children, Rita and Gene Langum of Escalon, Diana and Lonnie Myers of Vancouver, Wash.; siblings, Mary Sharp of Coos Bay, Ore., James Owens of Mt. View, Ray Owens of Citrus Heights, Bill Owens of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Jason and Dor Myers of Martinez, Sean Langum of Escalon; and great-grandchildren Jessica and Nathan Myers of Martinez.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon. Service will be noon Thursday at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon. Interment will be at Burwood.
