Frank Louis Isaia passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 78 in Ripon, CA. Frank was born on July 2, 1937 in Oakdale, CA to Bartholomew and Frances (Ambra) Isaia. He was raised and received his education in Escalon, CA and graduated with Escalon High School Class of 1956. Frank was united in marriage to Gertrude “Gertie” Silva on April 8, 1961 in Ripon, CA. Frank and Gertie resided in the communities of Manteca and San Francisco prior to settling in Ripon in 1967. Frank was a cellar worker at The Wine Group (formerly Franzia Winery) for 30 years until his retirement in 1998.
Among his special interests, Frank enjoyed taking road trips, campground hosting and walking his beloved dogs CiCi and Wishbone. Frank loved people, never met a stranger and was a joy to be around. He is preceded in passing by his parents and his brother, Robert Isaia.
Frank is survived by his wife, Gertrude Isaia of Ripon, CA; and his children, Danielle (Jerry) Pierce of Ripon, CA and Jeffrey (Lynn) Isaia of West Harrison, IN. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Maxwell Pierce, Matthew Pierce, William Pierce, Keith Isaia and Derrick Wilson.
