Frances Bradley

Frances Anna Bradley, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 11 in Texas after a long illness.

Born Dec. 9, 1925, she had lived the last two years in Texas with her son, but she had lived the majority of her life in the Modesto, Ceres, Turlock and Victorville areas. She was active in the church until she became ill. She loved taking care of children in the church nursery and making gifts for children in the hospital.

She loved cooking, working in the garden and fishing. She also loved animals of all kinds.

Survivors include her son, William Bradley of Texas; daughters, Sandra Wells of Priest River, Idaho and Cathy Dupree of Manteca; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bradley and oldest daughter, Peggy Smith.

Funeral services were held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel in Ripon on Thursday, Dec. 20. Burial was at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine.
