Dorothy June (Greer) McBee, 65, passed away on Dec. 31, 2008.
She was born on June 12, 1943.
She will be missed as a wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy was able to share many cheerful memories with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed, but anybody who knew Dorothy knew her love of life. She enjoyed many aspects of life, none more than her grandchildren, of whom she was so proud.
She displayed an amazing attention to detail in everything she did, whether it was her beautiful gardens or playing Zelda with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Jim McBee, married for 16 years; her children Raymond Greer of NC, Shelly Greer of Escalon, Kathrynne Pedersen of Modesto, and her step son Tim McBee of KY; her grandchildren Michael Grossi of Ripon, Robert Grossi of Escalon, Erin Greer of San Francisco, Stephen Greer of Ripon, Madison Greer of NC, Trevor Pedersen of Modesto, and her step grandchildren Brittany McBee and Ryan McBee of KY; her siblings, Ann Greer of SC and John Fisher of ID; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents Dave and Lela Fisher, and her siblings Opal Cliflon, Ruth Warmington, Jim Fisher and Lola Gannon.
Visitation and Celebration of Life service were held previously at Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon.
