   Doris Anna Bohannon beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House surrounded by her family.
   Born in Fresno, CA on November 25, 1933 to the late Franklin and Faye George, she was one of five children. Doris worked as a switch board operator for the telephone company where she met the love of her life J.R. (Pete) Bohannon. They married in 1956 and lived in Stockton, CA where they had two children Stacy and Sue. She then devoted her life to raising her children. They moved to Escalon CA, in 1977.
    Doris was an avid bowler for many years. She became the first ever CWBA Queens Champion in 1966. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, sewing and most of all genealogy.
Her greatest pleasure was helping raise her grandsons. Taking them to sport practice and watching them participate. 
    Doris is survived by her daughters, Stacy Ormiston of North Carolina, and Sue Mostowski (Dr. Ronald Mostowski, D.C.) of Escalon CA. Grandchildren Mitchell Mostowski (Kristin), Matt Bohannon, Kyle Mostowski (Katie), Nathan Cowart and great grandchildren Karlie, Eme, Mia, Kellie, Kiera, and Wyatt Mostowski.
    Doris is preceded in death by her parents, two of her siblings and her husband, Pete. 
   A grave side service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon, CA. 
   The family asks in lieu of flower, donations may be made in Doris’ name to Community Hospice of Modesto.
