Donna Helene Van Wey, 60, passed away in Stockton on Saturday, Oct. 24.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1949 in San Mateo to Donald and Edith Van Wey. Donna grew up in Redwood City and graduated from Sequoia High School in 1969. When she was a young adult she liked to bowl and played on a handicapped team. She enjoyed crafts, embroidery, bead work, and puzzles. Her favorite outing was going to Tuolumne to her parent's house, and she loved to sing.

Survivors include her sister Helen and brother-in-law Bill Betzler of Tuolumne; her nieces and nephews, Donald and Amanda Betzler and their son Coleton of Tuolumne, Carolyn and Paul Cranch and their sons Warner and Marshall of Australia, Robert and Bethany Betzler of Tuolumne, Stephen and Faith Betzler of Jupiter, Tim Betzler of Tuolumne, Julie and Josh Price of Sonora, Amy Betzler of Tuolumne and Sara Betzler of Tuolumne.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank Carcidos Care Home in Stockton for the excellent care that Donna received.
