Donna Jean Nelson, 72, passed away from lung cancer at her home in Escalon on Tuesday, May 4.
She was born on July 29, 1937 in Burghill, Ohio to David and Helen Joseph.
She retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Tracy where she was a forklift operator right before her retirement in 1985. She was always up to the challenge of a board game of any kind, and enjoyed golfing and quilting. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, David J. Hartgraves and his wife Cathy of Stockton, Vernon L. Stevenson and his wife Vicki of Medford Oregon, Robert J. Stevenson and his wife Marie of Manteca and Kim A. Bishop and her husband Steve of Escalon; grandchildren Jeremy D. Hartgraves, Joshua P. Hartgraves, Nancy M. Klingman, Virgil L. Klingman, Amanda N. Klingman, Jennifer M. Stevenson, Sara E. Stevenson, Myles M. Bishop and Desirae J. Bishop; great grandchildren Jadon and Landon; and her sister, MaryAnne Harbison of Medford Oregon.
Her Celebration of Life was held on Saturday.
