A couple of months after his Navy service ended, he met the love of his life, Sandy and they were married in 1970. He adored and greatly loved his wife and children and their four grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Sandy, son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Sara, daughter Rebecca Timmons, his grandchildren - Tate and Smith Langum, Liam and Collin Timmons, brothers Glen and Virginia, Roy and Carol, Gene and Rita, Ted and Dorothy, sister-in-law Barbara, and many nephews and nieces.

Of all their hobbies, he and Sandy loved traveling most of all. They were blessed to go on over 30 cruises all around the world. Don also enjoyed golfing and bowling, playing baseball on their church leagues, bicycle rides with his friend Alvin, and reading.

Don’s memorial and celebration of life will be on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Escalon Heritage church, 1155 Escalon Ave., Escalon, 95320.
