Don Earl Inman, 73, passed away on Friday, Dec.14 after a short illness.

He was born in Arkansas, grew up in Waterford, and graduated from Oakdale High School. After six years in the Navy he settled in the Escalon area after meeting Dorothy Silva.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years Dorothy; son Don Inman Jr. (Paola) and Darwin Inman (Kathryn); and three grandchildren.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and working in farm machinery sales for Flory Industries for 36 years. He loved being in the orchard visiting his clients.

Lately, his favorite pastime was watching his grandkids grow up. He adored all three of them and took immense pride in them.

Visitation was at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon on Wednesday, Dec. 19. Mass and burial were at St. Patrick's church on Thursday, Dec. 20.

The family asks for remembrances to be made to the Escalon Ambulance Fund and the American Heart Association.
