"Dolly" Anita Ogilvie

Dolly Ogilvie, 86, died peacefully at home with family at her side on Saturday, Aug. 27.

She was born in Portland, Maine on May 20, 1925 to Ernesto and Rose Sensecqua. She was one of five children.

It was there she met and married her beloved husband of 45 years, Howard H. Ogilvie during WWII and thereafter moving to Farmington, a town she loved for 65 years, raising a family and working in the family business Ogilvies Grocery for 32 years.

Dolly enjoyed collecting dolls, tea cups and playing cards. She was a member of "Secret Pal" and enjoyed the "Sewing Circle" at her local church, but most of all she loved her friends and family.

Survivors include her sister Mary; daughters Linda Harp and husband Jack of Farmington, Patricia Rigg of Escalon; son Kelly Ogilvie and wife Sue of Farmington; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; beloved sister-in-laws Virginia Walter, Thelma Sensecqua; and brother-in-law Ben Ogilvie and his wife Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard; sister Alice; brothers Carl and Joe.

Funeral services have already been held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Farmington Methodist Church or the Hospice of San Joaquin.
