Dennis E. Jones of Oakdale passed away Aug. 29, 2016 in Oakdale. Dennis was a 42 year resident of Oakdale Ca. He was a sergeant E5 in the USMC and a retired Fire Fighter for the City of Hayward. For the last 20 years he was the owner and operator of the Stockton Barber College. Dennis was an avid traveler; he enjoyed cruising the world and spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of the party, and was always quick to tell a joke or a story and entertain everyone! He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. Jones and Olive Cummins, granddaughter Sabrina Rena Marchant, and sister Lynn Siedentopf. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Sharyan Kay Jones, two children, Sherrie Craig (Chuck), Billy Jones (Stacy), and four grandchildren, Kelli Marchant of TX, Austin Jones, Kelsea Durham, and Clayton Jones. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Dennis. Services will be private.
