CHRISTINA JOY (PILCHER) CLARK

Christina Joy (Pilcher) Clark passed away at home at the age of 85, August 4, 2018 surrounded by her family. Christina was born in Social Hill, Arkansas April 7, 1933 to Roy and Trusele Adele Pilcher and moved to San Pedro CA, at the age of 7. It was in San Pedro where she met the love of her life, and future husband Robert Clark. They were married June 24, 1951 and went on to have a daughter Lynne, and two sons Robert Jr., and John.

Christina enjoyed being around her family and her pets. She was always an animal lover, never far from her cats and dogs and other farm animals she kept. She was considered the favorite Aunt by all of her nieces and nephews, near and far. She was a very hands-on grandmother and great grandmother, the matriarch of her family.

She lived her young married life in Stockton Ca, later to retire with her husband and enjoy her grandchildren in Farmington, Ca. She lived her final two years in Las Vegas, NV with her daughter, Lynne.

Christina is survived by her brother, Ray Pilcher; daughter, Lynne (Michael Sellars) Clark of Las Vegas; son, John (Elaine) Clark of Stockton CA; grandchildren, Tina (John) Simoes, JoLynne (Chris) Nekut, Robecka (Kevin) Waller, Laticia (Frank) Duenes, and John Clark; great-grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Elijah, and Angela Simoes, Chloe and Christoper Nekut, McKenna and McKaela Waller, Lola, Nina, and Jade Duenas; and great-great grandchildren, Milo and Nova Simoes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sr.; son, Robert Jr.; and sisters, Jean Keen and Patsy Sias.
