Charles H. Lind Sr., 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 2 at his home in Escalon.
He was born on March 1, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama to Howard and Hallie Lind.
He was a veteran of the Air Force serving from 1951-1955, and worked for American Airlines retiring after 30 years of employment there. He was a family man who loved his friends and family.
Survivors include his children, Julie Lombardo of Oakdale, Chuck Lind Jr. of Livermore and Jeff Lind of Livermore.
He was preceded in death by two of his children, Michael Lind and Cynthia Lind.
Services will be private for his family.
Burial will be in Swampscott, Massachusetts where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
