Carl R. Droge, 89, of Stockton, passed away at Dameron Hospital in Stockton on Jan. 27, 2009.
He was born Dec. 8, 1919.
Mr. Droge was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Civil Service Employee.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret; four sons, David of Tacoma, WA, Dennis of Stockton, Nicholas of Fresno, and John of Lodi; eight grandchildren and his sister, Edith De Hart of Citrus Heights.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 4910 Claremont Ave., Stockton. Burial will be private for his family at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Institute, 675 Almanor Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085.
