Barbara Ann Patrick, 75, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 23, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1939, in Oakland to Clint and Ann Barber. She grew up and went to school in Mariposa.

Barbara drove school bus for Escalon Unified School District for 25 years, and she enjoyed reminiscing about the children who rode her bus and the many school outings she was able to take them to.

She enjoyed gardening, baking her Christmas cookies and candies, her many pets, attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events; her greatest enjoyment was being a grandma.

Survivors include her son Fred Finch and daughter-in-law Donna; her daughter Julie Andrews-Helou and husband Fady, daughter Charleen Franceschetti and husband Bob, daughter Dianne Martin and husband Jon; her brother Bob Barber and wife Amy; brother-in-law Randy Andrews; grandchildren, Nyla, Elias, Zachary, Spencer, Christopher, Leighton, Taylor, Kristy, Angela, Megan and Craig; great grandchildren Geovanna, Nyx, MacKenzie, Perie, Dennis, and Haley.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Deegan Funeral Chapel.

Remembrances can be made to Hospice or Wags and Whiskers Rescue, a nonprofit animal shelter in Modesto.
