Antonio Furtado Coelho, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 27 after a short battle with cancer.

Born on Sept. 18, 1926, he was well known and respected in his community, especially in Livermore and Escalon. The highlight of his life was working on his farm and helping his friends when they needed him.

Survivors include his daughter, Maria Craig of Escalon; his grandchildren Cameron Craig, Christina Craig, and Rachel Craig, all of Escalon; his sisters Maria Avelar of Livermore, Irene Castro of Ontario, Canada, and Delores Lima of Azores; and his brothers, George Coelho of Livermore and Robert Barbeiro of Ontario, Canada.

Rosary-Mass was on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Escalon with burial following at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Escalon. Please sign the online guest book at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com.
