Ann (Roukema) De Vries, 74, of Escalon died Saturday, June 11 at Bethany Home in Ripon.
Born in Massachusetts, she had lived in Escalon for 52 years. She was a housewife who worked at Bethany Home of Ripon for many years, she was also a church organist at First Christian Reformed Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Chuck De Vries of Escalon; children, Terry De Vries of Pioneer, Edward and Sheila De Vries of Ripon and Gary and Sharon De Vries of Oakdale; sister, Matilda Maguire of Millbury, Massachusetts; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. Memorial service will be Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church in Ripon. Burial will be at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon, at 10 a.m. Saturday, preceding the memorial service.
