The ASTRO Foundation, Inc., which is dedicated to rescuing and providing loving homes for local cats and dogs in the Oakdale-Riverbank-Escalon areas, has a lot to be excited about and they will be sharing it all at the upcoming Woofstock Fundraiser. This special event is coming up on Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m., at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, which is located at 243 N. Stearns Road in Oakdale.

The fundraiser, according to organizers, will include ‘groovy’ raffle prizes, a silent auction, bottomless mimosas and live music by Jamie Byous.

For those attending Woofstock that would also like to tour the new facility, the ASTRO Foundation, Inc. will be hosting a tour at 10 a.m. Saturday, prior to the luncheon at their new location, 20 S. Stearns Road in Oakdale.
