Soroptimist International of Oakdale held its annual Motor Madness fundraiser on Saturday, March 30 at the Gene Bianchi Community Center. Over 350 guests enjoyed a delicious variety of hors d’oeuvres and desserts as well as beer and wine tasting. Bill and Linda Schwartz of Oakdale won the Grand Door Prize and selected the $10,000 cash prize option over the Harley Davidson motorcycle.

This year’s theme was “March (Motor) Madness” and featured a free throw contest for guests dressed in basketball attire. Local singer/songwriter Chris Farris served as emcee and performed throughout the evening.

Proceeds from Motor Madness ticket sales and opportunity drawings benefit Soroptimist programs for women and girls as well as local community projects. The members of Soroptimist International of Oakdale would like to thank those that purchased tickets and provided gifts, donations, and support for this event.
