If you want to enjoy the weekend Wine and Brew Stroll in downtown Escalon, you must have your tickets in hand ahead of time.

Hosted by the Escalon Chamber of Commerce, tickets will be available through eventbrite and there will be online purchases available only; no tickets will be sold at the event.

The 2021 Wine and Brew Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25 along Main Street, running from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; go to www.escalonchamberofcommerce.org for details and to order your tickets.

“Wine and Brew partnered with food, music, games and general god times create this adult event on Main Street,” the informational flyer from the Chamber of Commerce notes. “This is our main fundraiser to support community events and our EUSD (Escalon Unified School District) scholarships.”

Tickets are $30 each and include a souvenir wine glass to be used during the evening tasting event. Wines and brews will be paired with a variety of hors d’oeuvres and several of the Main Street businesses will be hosting wine pourings outside as well as many staying open late to welcome in patrons.

“We are looking forward to selling out and all tickets will be online on eventbrite,” said Chamber spokesperson Antonio Diaz.

A portion of Main Street will be shut down to allow for mixing and mingling during the evening as well, and Chamber officials said there will be room for dancing as well as seating and sipping options for patrons.

Officials said they are excited to be back, after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic restrictions in place last year, and are hoping that a big crowd will turn out to support the event.

Also, the Chamber is planning for its next Sunday in the Park, which will be hosted in October with a Fall harvest/pumpkin/Halloween theme.
