The Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club has had to cancel its unique house/garden tour onriginally set for Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The tour was to offer a taste of history in the form of historic buildings (one built in 1863) and trees, education via several ‘Walk and Learn’ vignettes, inspiration through DIY garden art displays, and shopping opportunities with ‘Plant and Hand-Painted Garden Art Signs’ sales.

Officials are hoping to reschedule the event for a later date.

Proceeds - when the tour can be held - will go toward EFCGC scholarships for Escalon/Farmington youth. For more information, email escalonfarmingtongc@gmail.com, call (209) 844-6213, or visit www.EFCGC.wordpress.com.
