Transit District Implements Service Changes For Region
SJ RTD

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) continues its effort to improve accessibility and equity in transit by implementing new service changes, which took effect on Sunday, July 30. The enhanced service provides better connections and increased frequency getting passengers to their destinations faster and with fewer stops.

Improvements to Routes 510 and 520 serving major medical centers, including San Joaquin General Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Stockton, and St. Joseph’s Medical Centers, will now operate on an approximately 30-minute frequency. The same increased frequency will be deployed for Routes 515 and 525 serving local community centers, historically underserved neighborhoods, and other frequently visited destinations making it easier for people to take the bus to work, school, or wherever they need to go.

RTD is also adding extensions to Routes 90, 91, and 93, connecting riders to the Mall Transfer Station (MTS) and the Downtown Transit Center (DTC).  Routes 335, 340, 360, 378, 380, and 390 have also been reinstated as of July 30.

Riders may take advantage of RTD’s services by using the Vamos Mobility app with ticketing by EZ Hub to quickly and conveniently plan trips and pay fares. To download the app, visit VamosMobileApp.com.
