One-way traffic control is scheduled during the next two weeks on River Road, as part of the ongoing McHenry Avenue Improvement Project.

The one-way traffic will run from Monday, Oct. 8 through Friday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists should expect delays. The work will be done during the week, Monday through Friday, but is not scheduled on the weekends.

The construction team will be working on bridge and drainage improvements and the one-way traffic control will be both east and west of the intersection on River Road. Officials said the work on the Improve McHenry effort is now 65 percent complete and is on schedule, with completion anticipated in 2020.
