Stopping in at the Escalon Library on Friday, March 29 to donate blood was Constance Coover of Ripon, being assisted by Red Cross staffer Alexandra Hernandez. The blood drive at the library saw a steady stream of donors, some giving blood and others doing the ‘power red’ donation. In that process, two units of blood are donated, with the plasma and platelets returned to the donor. The drive was in conjunction with Red Cross Month observed in March.
