There was another good turnout for the monthly Farmer’s Market in Escalon; the second edition of the season hosted on Wednesday, May 21. Though temperatures felt a little more like summer than late spring, the shade sails over the Main Street Park area helped provide a little respite from the afternoon sun as the crowd took in the offerings. Vendor booths, entertainment, fresh produce, food and beverage options and more were featured. The Chamber of Commerce puts on the event each third Wednesday of the month, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., running through August.
