There was a steady stream of diners making their way in for a pancake breakfast hosted at Saron Lutheran Church on Saturday morning, May 4 in Escalon. Here, workers Louise Spurgeon, left, and Delores Grabow get ready to serve up some more food. There were scrambled eggs or an egg casserole to choose from, as well as bacon, sausage and all you could eat pancakes, along with fresh strawberries, juice and coffee. This was the second annual pancake breakfast for the church, the first one last year was well attended and this year’s was a success as well.
