The Save Mart Companies recently announced that select Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores throughout the Central Valley are participating in this year’s fundraising campaign supporting Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera. The healthcare network also has outpatient centers in Modesto, Merced, Bakersfield and Visalia. Money raised funds vital research and lifesaving treatment initiatives for children and families in the local community.

“We are pleased to partner with Valley Children’s Hospital to support critical research and medical treatment for children and families in the communities we serve and are delighted to offer our shoppers the opportunity to support the pediatric hospital services that make a difference to so many young lives throughout the Central Valley,” said Hal Levitt, senior vice president of retail operations for The Save Mart Companies.

Save Mart and FoodMaxx shoppers have the opportunity to donate $2, $3, and $5 through coupons available at checkout stands. Once scanned, the donation will be added to their total grocery bill. Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores throughout the San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Tulare, Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tuolumne counties are participating in this year’s campaign. All proceeds will benefit Valley Children’s Hospital.
