We are so grateful for the opportunity to have had AgFest this year. We had almost 50 students participate in livestock shows and Ag mech projects. The Escalon FFA chapter was very successful in the shows during June. We were finally able to bring our poultry kids back to the show ring and place well. A big congratulations to Molly Terpstra for her Supreme Champion Market Steer and Vivian Borba for placing second.

Our dairy kids did well with Avery Terra placing Reserve FFA Champion Replacement Heifer. In the Market Goat show we had Sarah Bava place Reserve Champion Middleweight, Gracie Bracco with Champion Heavy Weight, and Bella Andrus with Reserve Champion Heavy Weight. Our swine kids did very well with Alyssa Salcedo placing first in her class and Champion FFA. A huge congratulations to all of our lamb kids and Ryan Trick with his Champion Lightweight lamb. We are so proud of our kids and all of their hard work. We are grateful for the volunteers of AgFest whose hard work allows our students to participate in fair every year.
