1:49 a.m. – Check of suspicious vehicle at Community Center, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

3:50 a.m. – Check of Sanchez Park area, Sanchez and Cardinal; secure.

7:08 a.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 block Main; no problems noted.

7:16 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Burgundy and Cardinal; no answer on callback, checked area, log note only.

1:10 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1300 block of Mitchell; checks OK.

2:07 p.m. – Check of wastewater treatment plant; 25000 block River Road; area secure.

5:07 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 2100 block Coley; log note only, quiet upon arrival.

1:44 a.m. – Security check at Escalon Animal Shelter, 25000 block East River Road; no problems noted.

3:44 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, 1700 block Main; secure.

4:521 a.m. – Suspicious person in the 1800 block of Burgundy; assisted.

6:29 a.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 block Main; no problems noted.

10:16 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1100 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

10:35 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 2000 block McHenry; checks OK.

10:43 a.m. – Disturbing the peace on Jessica; log note only.

11:25 .m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 500 block of First; secure, accidental dial.

1:59 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint on Jessica.

2:21 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1400 block of Roosevelt; checks OK.

7:57 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1000 block La Mesa.

10:11 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, last seen in the area of McHenry and First; unable to locate.

 

SATURDAY, SEPT. 5

12:17 a.m. – Extra patrol in the area of La Mesa and San Miguel; checks OK.

12:22 a.m. – Check of Sanchez Park; area secure.

2:38 a.m. – Extra patrol on Coley.

3:25 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check, Jessica and Justin; log note only.

7:10 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, Vine and Main; checks OK.

7:21 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and McHenry.

7:30 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from San Joaquin County Sheriff for vehicle being pursued by units coming into Escalon along Escalon-Bellota Road at close to 100 mph; headed southbound toward McHenry; log note only.

9:58 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from CHP Merced, vehicles last seen westbound on Highway 120 at Enterprise, reckless drivers at high speed; unable to locate.

10:45 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 2000 block Swanson; checks OK.

5:54 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Brennan and Highway 120; accidental dial.

5:59 a.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

11:36 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 19000 block of McHenry; log note only.

12:16 pm. – Suspicious vehicle, area of Justin and Yosemite; unable to locate.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 3

1:04 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1300 block of Elizabeth; checks OK.

3:22 p.m. – Crossing arms damaged at Highway 120 and McHenry, possibly struck by big rig northbound on the highway; report taken.

4:19 p.m. – Minor injury accident reported, Highway 120 and Irwin, vehicle vs. motorcycle.

7:34 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1200 block of Plaza; secure.

8:09 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and McHenry; vehicle gone on arrival.

10:43 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, 2300 block Jessica; checks OK.
