12:55 a.m. – Downtown foot patrol, 1700 block Main; no problems noted.

1:58 a.m. – Extra patrol, Sanchez Park area, Sanchez Way and Cardinal Drive; area checks secure.

3:24 a.m. – Extra patrol, security check at El Portal Middle School, 800 block First; no problems noted.

3:37 a.m. – Suspicious person, officer initiated activity, Elm and California; suspect walking across the highway carrying wood post; stated he finished a project and was walking to a friend’s house to spend the night; log note only.

8:27 a.m. – Public assist in the 1100 block of California.

11:22 a.m. – Security check at Dent Elementary, 1900 block Yosemite; secure.

11:37 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, officer initiated activity at Main Street Park; checks OK.

11:55 a.m. – Security check at Sanchez Park; no problems noted.

1:45 p.m. – Check of Escalon Community Center; 1000 block Escalon Avenue; area secure.

5:24 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 3300 block McHenry; checks OK.

8:03 p.m. – Check of El Portal Middle School; secure.

8:12 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Lone Tree between Sexton and Brennan; unregistered cell phone, unable to return call, information also passed on to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

9:13 p.m. – Check of Main Street Park; area secure.

9:36 p.m. –Hogan-Ennis Park security check, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; no problems noted.

11:56 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1200 block Yosemite; checks secure.

12:05 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

12:07 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of Coley near the post office; checks OK.

12:30 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible attempted break-in, 1800 block Main.

12:47 a.m. – Extra patrol at Grange Hall, out on foot patrol, 1800 block Main; area clear.

12:47 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 2200 block California; checks OK.

1:01 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle in the 1200 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

1:43 a.m. – Suspicious person reported in the 1500 block of Countrywood; checks OK.

8:23 a.m. – Downtown foot patrol, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

8:37 a.m. – Business check, 1100 block California; area secure.

9:16 a.m. – Harassing phone calls complaint, 1900 block McHenry. Report taken.

10:44 a.m. – Welfare check request on Irwin.

12:25 p.m. – Group of juveniles seen in the area, near basketball hoops, 800 block First, El Portal Middle School; gone on arrival.

12:42 p.m. – Vehicle tampering complaint, 1900 block McHenry.

5:32 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 700 block of Clough; assisted.

6:20 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from cell phone, appears to be accidental dial, 25000 block Ullrey; assisted.

9:23 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint on La Mesa; warned.

12:02 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, Yosemite and Elizabeth; log note only.

1:24 a.m. – Check of Sanchez Park, secure.

1:33 a.m. – Welfare check request in the 1200 block of Plaza; unable to locate subject.

2:03 a.m. – Check of Hogan-Ennis Park; area secure.

5:31 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported, Westbrook and Harvest; unable to locate.

6:27 a.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 1100 block Escalon; report taken.

8:38 a.m. – Extra patrol request on Elizabeth.

12:13 p.m. – Animal complaint on Main.

3:05 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department at police station, 2000 block McHenry.

3:36 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Stockton CHP reported reckless big rig in the area of California, past McHenry; unable to locate.

6:22 p.m. – Extra patrol request on Brennan.

6:56 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

7:37 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1400 block of Roosevelt; misdial, secure.

8:36 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of San Miguel; checks OK.

8:38 p.m. – Public assist on McHenry.

10:15 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1200 block Plaza; checks OK.

11:28 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, 1900 block of Main; report taken.

5:01 p.m. – Public assist at police station.

5:59 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, occurred prior in the area of Libby and Danielle; report taken.

9:24 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 2200 block Vine; loud music, advised to turn it down.

10:29 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 2200 block Jackson; checks OK.

10:56 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

11:20 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, on First Street; checks OK.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 26

5:42 a.m. – Extra patrol on Narcissus.

7:50 a.m. – Possible intoxicated driver, Highway 120 and Brennan, call transferred to CHP.

11:33 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance on Farinelli; log note only.

1:42 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, McHenry and Clough; will be on the lookout.

5:37 p.m. – Hit and run with property damage reported, McHenry and Jones; report taken.
