SUNDAY, AUG. 26

12:01 a.m. – Shots fired report; area of Farinelli and California, possibly aerial fireworks being shot off.

6:43 a.m. – Downtown security check; Main Street area, no problems noted.

8:24 a.m. – Public Works call out for possible malfunctioning sprinklers in the park, Sanchez and Cardinal.

1:52 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2000 block of Main; checks OK.

2:05 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance on Irwin; report taken.

7:29 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, McHenry and Ullrey; unable to locate.

10:07 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported, parked in area for two hours with interior lights on, no one around vehicle; 1900 block McHenry.

11:19 p.m. – Security check at Hogan Park, all secure.

 

SATURDAY, AUG. 25

12:53 a.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department on locating a subject in the area, possibly with a firearm, 23000 block East River Road; assisted.

1:23 a.m. – Suspicious person reported, Vineyard Square, 1900 block McHenry; checks OK.

1:36 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, officer initiated activity in the 1600 block of Autumn; checks OK.

2:03 a.m. – Check of Hogan Park; area secure.

10:53 a.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the area of Jones Road; secure, misdial only.

12:18 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the 1300 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

12:33 p.m. – Found property report, 2200 block Jackson.

12:34 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the area of Hogan Park; checks OK.

2:51 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 2000 block McHenry; checks OK.

2:56 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the 1300 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

7:25 p.m. – Suspicious person in the area, report of youths throwing rocks and climbing on caboose in the 1700 block of Main; checks OK, children being supervised.

 

FRIDAY, AUG. 24

7:52 a.m. – Extra patrol, Escalon High School, 1500 block Yosemite; checks OK.

8:50 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, 800 block First; report taken.

9:17 a.m. – Follow up regarding a previous incident, 1200 block Escalon Avenue.

3:30 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 400 block First; checks OK.

4:07 p.m. – Suspicious persons reported, subjects seen in area, possibly attempting to sell items, Sanchez and Thompson; checks OK.

5:01 p.m. – Missing juvenile report, did not return from school on bus; later located.

 

THURSDAY, AUG. 23

2:48 a.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 bock Main; no problems noted.

7:14 a.m. – Extra patrol, Stanislaus and Yosemite.

7:55 a.m. – Extra patrol, El Portal Middle School, 800 block First.

9:04 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint, vehicle swerving all over the roadway, stopped at Jackson and Second; report taken, vehicle left at scene.

9:22 a.m. – Follow up on prior incidents of vehicle vandalism, 1500 block Yosemite.

10:44 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible theft of manhole cover reported at First and Main.

4:02 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, subject appears to be sleeping on the sidewalk, 1400 block of Main.

5:57 p.m. – Vehicle burglary reported, vehicle broken into and items taken, unsure where in city the break in may have occurred; report taken.

7:40 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued for vehicle swerving all over the roadway, area of Highway 120 and Brennan; gone on arrival, checked Highway 120 from Brennan to Campbell.

9:23 p.m. – Suspicious person seen in the area, 1500 block Yosemite; subject going through dumpsters; will be on the lookout.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 22

4:26 a.m. – Be on the lookout issued from CHP, Stockton, for vehicle driving recklessly, area of Highway 120 and Brayton; unable to locate.

10:45 a.m. – Meet a citizen request, officer initiated activity at police station, 2000 bock McHenry.

6:55 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from CHP Stockton for subjects possibly in a rolling dispute, vehicle last seen eastbound on Highway 120 just east of Sexton, driver and passenger were seen hitting each other. Log note only.

7:37 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1200 block Plaza; gone on arrival.

8:22 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, 1900 block McHenry, grocery items taken from store.
